Social Program
We have organized social events throughout the entire year such as dinner and a movie, pub trivia, Friday night fish fry, Green Bay Packers parties, card games, plays, festivals, concerts, bowling league, etc.  We also have an annual holiday party and summer picnic.

We also go out to dinner after each golf outing and enjoy socializing with our fellow members and guests at area restaurants while we enjoy hearing the "golf stories" of the day.

If you’d like to coordinate an outing or get a group together to go to a concert, festival, etc., please contact our social chairman at

REVIEW OF RECENT SOCIAL EVENTS:

Elvis Night –Review

Members attended the "Tribute to the King", Elvis impersonators on Wednesday, January 13th, 2010, at the Northern Lights Theatre in the Potawatomi Casino.

It wasn't Elvis, but it was the next best thing. To call headliner Ryan Pelton an Elvis impersonator would be an injustice. He takes on Elvis's persona. Backed by a gospel quartet and a killer band, he put on quite a show. Doing four sets with four costume changes, he had the look, sound, and mannerisms of Elvis. It gave the feeling of being transported back in time to one of Elvis's shows in Vegas.

April Visit to the Art Institute: April 18, 2009
Art for Golf's Sake

On Saturday April 18th, eight members took a field trip to the Art Institute of Chicago.

After hitting the mandatory Chicago traffic jam, we skirted over to Lake Shore Drive which led us right to the parking garage. While waiting for the other group to finish their circuits around the loop, four of us went to the Cloud Gate sculpture in Millennium Park for a self portrait and an interesting view of the city skyline. We met up with everyone just in time for a convenient lunch across from the museum entrance. After lunch we had ample time to view the magnificent collection. It was wonderful to get face to face with one of Rembrandt's subjects, a poster from the Moulin Rouge, Vincent van Gogh's self portrait, and of course the couple in American Gothic among others. The best gallery may have been the traveling exhibit "Heroes", the photography of Yousuf Karsh. A master of lighting and facial expression, he had portraits of almost every famous person from mid century to the 90's, from Bardot to Khrushchev to the Kennedy's. It was difficult to pick a favorite photo.

Here's a few of the pictures taken by our social chairman, Mark Sadowski.
