Social Program
We have organized
social events throughout the entire year such as dinner and a movie, pub
trivia, Friday night fish fry, Green Bay Packers parties, card games,
plays, festivals, concerts, bowling league, etc. We also have an annual holiday
party and summer picnic.
We also go out to dinner after each golf outing and enjoy socializing with
our fellow members and guests at area restaurants while we enjoy hearing
the "golf stories" of the day.

Summerfest - Thursday, June 26,
2008
The
next social event will be Summerfest, Thursday, June 26th.
Two great bands are playing that night. First - on the
Briggs & Stratton Stage at 6 pm, it's Eric Burdon & The
Animals. He plays some new material and a lot of the
old hits. Even though Alan Price, the genius behind
"The House of the Rising Sun" died last year, Eric is backed
by a great band. The 2nd act is 3 Dog Night on the MCI
Classic Rock stage at 9 pm. Two of the original lead
singers are still performing. And...if that's not to
your liking, Stevie Wonder is at the Marcus and Gnarls
Barkley plays at 11 pm.
Admission that day is free from noon to 3 pm with a donation
of 3 food items. (Hint: Aldi's has cans of peas
for 10 cents a can). Otherwise, it's $8 from noon to 4
pm, $15 after 4pm and $3 for those 60 and over.
Carpooling may be available from State Fair Park & Ride lot.
Parking at Summerfest could be split between participants.
Once at Summerfest, we'll arrange for a meeting place and
time afterwards.
