About the Organization
American Singles Golf Association (ASGA) was formed in 1992 for the purpose of bringing singles together through the game of golf.  There are over 50 chapters across the United States with over 4,500 members.  We are not professional golfers, the average handicap is 25, but we all share the goal of meeting other singles with common interests....life, love and the pursuit of the golf ball.

The Milwaukee Chapter
The Milwaukee Chapter was founded in 1997.  We currently have 60 members with the men to women ratio about 50/50.  The Milwaukee Chapter plans regular weekend golf outings during the golfing season.  Members frequently arrange their own golf outings with other members who are available during the weekday to golf.

We are not just a singles golf group.  We also have an extensive social program throughout the entire year so you can meet and greet fellow single individuals who enjoy the game of golf, want to meet and make new friends and enjoy life.

We have organized social events throughout the entire year such as dinner and a movie, pub trivia, Friday night fish fry, Green Bay Packers parties, card games, plays, festivals, concerts, etc.  We also have an annual holiday party and summer picnic.

PRESIDENT'S LETTER:
March 2010

What a year, 2009 turned out to be. All who helped make it a huge success, should be proud for all the efforts given. We started out with the GOLF SHOW, then going into a new/old members mingle with the Presidents Putt Off and pizza party. We had a great golf season, the first that I can remember that we did not have to cancel one outing. We had great participation at each golf event
Also, a true Picnic with the grill glowing and the food being cooked by Mark and myself. Night golf was a HOOT for all those who played. Who could forget the great American Chile Cook Off, or the SUB/SOUP mingle, and the great deserts prepared, homemade, by our swinging singles. We had many social events, with the best being the baseball game.
What a year 2009 turned out to be, all firsts, and a great year had by all who attended. Thanks everyone.
2010 is starting off with the Golf Show, the old/new member March mingle and PUTT OFF, and a April Mingle with a speaker.
We will be having two night golf events this year, and a great line up of golf courses on which to play.
The Labor Day Bash at Fox Hills is a must for all who want to have fun and play golf. Social events are and have been scheduled.
We will again have a Picnic and Christmas Party, so start to think about putting those dates on your calendar.
This year should be fun and filled with golf. Hope to see you at these events.
We need to have more people give of their talents and time. It was great to hear so many people are helping in the golf show.
We need to build our membership, and this is one way to do it. Others could be, bring a single friend to the mingle, post signs at the golf courses and your place of employment , write an article for the local news paper, do a golf demonstration that could be open to the public. The future is up to you.
See you on the course,
~Gerry
